Car Theft & Accidents
- Contact the police department to report the incident;
- Contact your insurance company with your insurance policy and related documentation at hand;
- In case of accident, fill out a joint report. If not available, make sure to exchange contact information with the other driver;
- In case of windshield damage, contact your insurance company and follow their procedure on windshield incidents. This will greatly accelerate the claim process.

Property or Water Damage
- Communicate with the fire department, if necessary;
- Have your insurance policy number or certificate number at hand;
- Make sure you tend to any emergency to control the damages;
- Gather preliminary information on the circumstances, probable cause, the nature and the extent of the damages;
- Take pictures of the damages;
- Report to the police department any criminal damage including vandalism, robbery or attempted vandalism or robbery;
- Keep all evidence that may have caused the damage until a claim expert provides you more instructions;
- Report the incident to your insurance company as soon as possible.
