Mackenzie has 18 years of experience in insurance brokerage, risk management consulting and underwriting, specializing in natural resources, and risk managed renewable energy clients. He joined BFL CANADA in 2015 as a client service manager, and subsequently occupied several roles including client executive, commercial unit leader, and most recently, National Practice Leader—Renewable Energy.

Over the course of his career, Mackenzie has been responsible for several large national and multinational clients with complex risk and insurance challenges. He is well versed in multinational program design and the implementation of risk management programs for the renewable energy sector.

As National Practice Leader – Renewable Energy, Mackenzie is responsible for the development and execution of BFL CANADA’s strategy, growth plan and resource development to support clients in the renewable energy sector, while working with client executives in BFL CANADA’s offices across the country.
