BFL CANADA welcomes Andrew Russell as Managing Partner – Specialty Commercial Western Region and National Practice Leader – Mining

Welcome to BFL CANADA, Andrew Russell!

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Russell as Managing Partner – Specialty Commercial Western Region and as National Practice Leader – Mining. BFL’s Specialty Commercial Segment is comprised of the Western Region’s Mining, Forestry, Marine, and Aviation businesses.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, Andrew began his risk management and insurance career in the Marine Division of a global brokerage. Andrew quickly ascended through the ranks expanding his capabilities, knowledge and expertise in the global mining industry. Andrew has worked on all levels of the mining business, from junior mining to the world’s largest mining developers and producers. Most recently, Andrew held the position of National Practice Leader for Mining at a global brokerage.

Andrew will be based out of our Vancouver office.
